"Love Island" breakout star Olandria Carthen is truly our Barbie, and she never fails to turn heads at any event, including Sunday's Golden Globes. On the red carpet, Carthen dazzled in a custom Kelly green mermaid gown by Christian Siriano, paired with statement jewels that sparkled just as much as she did.
While her fashion moment likely comes with a price tag we're not even going to pretend we can afford — or recreate — there's one part of Carthen's Golden Globes look that is within reach: her glow. Her radiant, sun-kissed skin was enhanced by longtime beloved brand Vaseline, specifically a gel oil that melts effortlessly into the skin and delivers luminous shine without the sun damage.
Popsugar assistant shopping editor Naomi Parris is also a fan, sharing, "There are tons of body oils on the market, but nothing has penetrated my skin quite like this one from Vaseline. Not only does it deliver the most dreamy shine — with just a hint of sparkle — but it's formulated with pure cocoa butter, leaving my skin feeling hydrated for hours, even through more than eight hours of Fashion Week shows."

Hold Up: Dare I Say Lola Blankets Are Worth the Hype? |
I'm not usually one to recommend astronomically-priced products (because very few things are actually worth that kind of money), but if you're going to splurge on yourself, a Lola blanket is the way. I got the Desert Dune color in a size medium, and I finally understand why influencers won't stop talking about them — they're that comfortable. Wrapping one around me feels like a warm hug. It's perfectly weighted and unbelievably soft. I can't use it without falling asleep shortly after; that's how cozy it is. If you've been eyeing one and wondering whether it's worth the splurge, my answer is a very enthusiastic yes. Everyone who comes over falls in love with it and specifically asks for it when they're on my couch. It's gone from a want to a need, and that alone made it worth writing about. |
