While costume designer Molly Rogers is the mastermind behind the outfits in "The Devil Wears Prada 2," out May 1, Meryl Streep herself has long worked with stylist Micaela Erlanger. In anticipation for the film, Erlanger teamed up with The Runway at TJ Maxx to share her personal styling tips. She tells Popsugar that in general, "It's all about fit. Always. I build a full look, but I don't stop until I've edited it. Hemming, tailoring, removing anything that doesn't serve the silhouette."
That sentiment is very much reflected in Streep's press tour wardrobe, which is modest, deliciously luxe, and feels very Miranda to fans everywhere — particularly when it comes to accessories. "I can imagine any powerful 'Runway' editor going straight for the designer sunglasses or shoes," Erlanger says. "Those pieces can set the tone of a look instantly. A great pair of sunglasses signals authority . . . [and shoes] can really affect posture and confidence."
While Erlanger says she didn't intentionally dress Streep like Miranda Priestly (though she did drop one subtle Easter egg involving a cerulean sweater), she notes, "The real question driving the wardrobe is: What does a powerful, fully realized woman at the height of her career look like today? It's the most fashion you've seen her in, while all still feeling very Meryl."

Amazon's Summer Beauty Event has kept us waiting long enough, but we're finally looking at discounts up to 30 percent off everything from K-beauty skin care to the viral Dyson Airwrap (which I personally swear by for salon-worthy, at-home blowouts). Deals will only last through May 10, and they change daily, with flash markdowns on makeup, fragrance, health and wellness, and more. This is what I'm currently eyeing, and since I'm a shopping editor who has seen so many deals, you can trust that these are actually worth it:

In case you're in the market for a dress you can wear from now through the end of September, look no further than Taylor Swift's latest street-style look. Newly minted as one of The New York Times's 30 greatest living American songwriters, she stepped out in NYC (perhaps to celebrate?) wearing Staud's Wells Striped Poplin Midi Dress ($325). She punctuated the number with a bright yellow mini Lady Dior bag, Christian Louboutin sandals, and her signature red lip. If you're seeking more affordable options that will achieve the same timeless, feminine look, I gathered a few similar pieces for you below.
