We all know that a bad diet and stress can make us both physically and mentally ill – but do we need to exclusively drink bone broth and eat vegetables à la Gwyneth Paltrow to stay healthy?

The Hollywood woo-woo guru, who proudly sports crop tops on red carpets at 50, credits her good health to Dr Will Cole and his new book, Gut Feelings. Editor Kath Brown wasn’t convinced – so she sceptically tried the Gut Feelings diet for a full week. While she laments that ‘a girl can’t live on bone broth alone,’ she also made some interesting discoveries. Read her verdict here.

Elsewhere, Stephen Doig has the scoop on Australian pop icons Kylie and Dannii Minogue’s 50-something style renaissance, and the travel team has the 20 best spots to holiday child-free (hint: act quick, or 76 million school children will get there first).
