Princess Anne has never been the “fashionable” royal. She doesn’t subscribe to trends, she rarely buys new clothes, and she doesn’t travel with a stylist. Instead, the contents of her wardrobe have largely been chosen with practicality and timelessness in mind. And yet, it is these very qualities which have made her an unlikely style influencer.

This status doesn’t even have anything to do with the fact that she embodies “old money” style – a new TikTok trend for the “my great-grandparents were richer than yours” look. For anyone attending tomorrow’s Coronation, it may provide a useful guide to blending in.

Enjoy!
