Scandis do so many things well – chunky knitwear, delicious bread, salmon carpaccio and dark TV dramas. They’re also very good at skincare, as Jan Masters finds out. She explains it’s a really refreshing break from the 10-step skincare routines we often read about.

Much like their chic pared-back interiors, Scandi skincare is minimalist and effective – and focuses on things that so many of us look for, like natural ingredients, effective ways to keep our skin hydrated and products that are sustainable. There are some real gems in the piece, including a gorgeous cranberry cleanser which leaves the skin feeling 'like it’s been splashed with mountain stream water', a facial mist that makes the skin glow and a new hero serum from a Swedish biotech company that’s supposed to be brilliant for getting rid of redness.

Meanwhile, I’m going to light a candle, snuggle up under a cosy blanket and enjoy a cinnamon bun!

Enjoy,
Lucia
