Renowned for his old fashioned charm and charisma, designer Bruce Oldfield has been connected to many of the biggest royal style moments of the past four decades – so it may be no surprise that the Queen Consort has reportedly chosen him to design her coronation gown. At the same time, as Bethan Holt writes, Camilla could be seen as taking "an interesting risk" – as Oldfield is also synonymous with the late Diana, Princess of Wales, for whom he created more than 100 gowns. Scroll down for the top style moments of one of British society’s most beloved designers.

Plus, discover the 10 items health experts want to ban from our children’s diet and find out why the Irish hate The Banshees of Inisherin.
