Feeling the chill today? You and I both. It’s the kind of weather that calls for a bit of hunkering down in some cashmere and a pair of shearling-lined slippers. For Akshata Murthy, wife of the PM, her go-to slippers happen to be something of a fashion statement. She was pictured running errands this week in a pair of £570 gold chain embellished mules by JW Anderson. Caroline Leaper wrote about how this was a fashion power move, and what this kind of style choice reveals about the woman wearing it.

Meanwhile Lisa Armstrong and Sasha Slater have been at Milan Fashion Week, casting their verdicts on the latest Prada, Fendi and Max Mara collections.

Wishing you a stylish weekend,
Tamara
