The Best Dressed Celebs at Taylor and Travis's Wedding
|
A lot of the design details from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding are still under wraps (save for a romantic embroidered T&T napkin and a glimpse of the bouquet), but luckily guests did have to travel from their hotels to Madison Square Garden, so we enjoyed a peek at the obviously romantic, potentially garden-inspired dress code.
Sarah Chapelle, author of "Taylor Swift Style," notes that the event was confirmed black tie, pointing to a now-deleted image of the couple's save the date. "A black tie dress code is a step in formality above cocktail attire and just below the most formal request of white tie, which would ask — as its name implies — white ties and tails and full-length gowns," she tells Popsugar. "From what we’ve seen of their guests, it was a well-dressed affair!"
While Swift and Kelce were outfitted in Dior Couture by Jonathan Anderson, stars like Jennifer Lopez, Gigi Hadid, and Selena Gomez worked with their stylists to request dresses from Bach Mai, Wiederhoeft, and Oscar de la Renta respectively.
Lopez's flattering, drop-waist dress is one of the easiest looks to recreate and perfectly fitting for any wedding. "I think she looked absolutely perfect from head to toe," designer Bach Mai tells PS. "I love how the jewelry worked with her neckline, and her glam was pure perfection."
