My Hold Up Product of the Year: Fashion Edition |
And just like that, we're seven days out from 2026. If that sounds crazy to you, you're not alone! This year has come and gone like nobody's business, full of the cringiest and greatest moments. One of the things that's helped me navigate the beautiful chaos? Shopping (duh). I'm a fashion girl first, so of course, one of my top purchases of the year is the Prada Moon Nappa Soft-Padded Leather Bag. From from the brand's 2002 collection, it features a plush nappa leather body, rolled leather shoulder straps, silver hardware, and my favorite element — the triangular logo on the front. Not to mention, I got it for just over $500, during an employee sale my friend invited me to. While it may seem like another frivolous buy, this purchase is meaningful for me in more ways than one. I've been wanting a Prada piece for some time, but never became serious about investing in one. The sale was around the time I got a new position on the shopping team here at Popsugar, and I'm always so focused on the next goal that I often fail to celebrate my wins. I finally decided it was time to treat myself, and as destiny would have it, my friend texted me about the sale. From New York to Paris, I have yet to regret this purchase. Moral of the story? Don't hesitate to treat yourself — retail therapy is just as good as any other kind. |
