Plus: ‘British parents have lost the battle over screens at the table’
| | Bunting and camping chairs lined the streets outside Chester Cathedral this morning ahead of the wedding of the Duke of Westminster and Olivia Henson.
The groom arrived in a dark green Land Rover Defender and the bride in a vintage Bentley. Guests were spotted in boho florals and platform sandals – a nod to this season’s hottest trends, set by French fashion label Chloé’s recent collection – and you can see the best looks, including Princess Eugenie’s, here.
Among all of the stylish outfits, there was the one dress that everyone couldn't wait to see – the now Duchess of Westminster’s. She wore a gown by Chelsea-based designer Emma Victoria Payne that featured a 6ft train and the personal touches to her family veil are simply beautiful.
Elsewhere, the biggest job in fashion – chief designer at Chanel – is up for grabs… Who will take on the role? And Shelley Rubenstein visits Raymond Blanc’s legendary Oxfordshire property, where an interview scheduled for two hours ended up lasting for more than six.
