Plus: The easy way to save money on a long weekend away
| | A new study from China found that breaking up eight hours of sitting with 10 squats every 45 minutes led to a bigger drop in our blood sugar than going for a 30 minute walk. Before you worry about how to integrate this practice into your daily life (it does not need to mean the shock horror of dropping into a squat in front of coworkers), check out Mehta’s piece here. She demonstrates just how easy and practical it is to weave these workouts into your day, whether it’s balancing on one leg while brushing your teeth or sneaking in some bicep curls while on a call.
