Plus: Why we all love Jennifer Coolidge and the best way to visit Venice
| | | By Tamara Abraham, FASHION EDITOR | | If you’ve finished the latest season of Succession and need something new to occupy your time, may I suggest Lisa Armstrong’s latest read on the leadership shake-up at the top of the French luxury conglomerate LVMH?
This week, the world’s richest man, Bernard Arnault, appointed his daughter, Delphine, 47, CEO and chair of Dior, the most prestigious of the group’s stable of brands. Arnault’s eldest son, Antoine, 45, has also been promoted to vice-chairman and CEO of Christian Dior SE (the holding company through which the family controls LVMH).
It’s the latest indication that Arnault has sounded the starting pistol on a potentially fraught contest to see which of his five children will succeed him as the next number one.
Lisa also wrote about the rise of 2023’s most fabulous woman, Jennifer Coolidge, and how, thanks to White Lotus, she’s hitting her peak at 61.
